BIO
In January 2021, I joined the University of Washington’s (UW) Center for Evaluation & Research for STEM Equity (CERSE) as a research scientist. In this role, I primarily evaluate programs that aim to advance equity in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. In March 2021, I received my PhD from UW’s Department of Sociology. During my time as a graduate student, I conducted research and taught various sociological topics. Before joining UW, I was the program coordinator for an international public interest law fellowship program, worked in academic conference administration, and interned at organizations focused on post-conflict mental health, U.S.-Poland relations, and documentary filmmaking. I also spent nearly a decade working in restaurants and bars.
